As the top says, we like to sail, travel and eat. Most of this blog is written with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek. Beware that I might get a bit salty with the language at times, but it's all in good fun.
And despite what you may read, we are a very happily married couple….because we can laugh at ourselves.

Who do you want in your foxhole....

when things go to crap?

Knowing that there would be a 90% likelihood of having to evacuate Key West. I asked my spouse to do the following things.

1. Double/triple/quadruple check the boat and then check it again.  SUCCESS!

 2. Fill up the rental car with gas, because two thing will happen with a evacuation: a) the line to the gas station will be back 5 blocks up and b) the prices of gas will double.   SUCCESS!

 3. Make sure you have some sort of foul weather jacket. Kinda success! Instead of taking one of the jackets from his collection off the boat he buys yet another one.

4. Make sure we have some sort of provisions in case we get stranded either in Key West, in the car, or in a shelter.  FAIL!
